Service Options


Retained:

Offers complete, full-service searches with a dedicated project team assigned to your search until it is complete.  Our retained search option is used at executive levels and "key person" searches where there is a critical high level need that must be filled in a short period of time.
  • All candidates recruited and presented are exclusive for length of search.
  • Fee is based on first years compensation to include base salary, bonuses and commissions:
    • 1/3 due upon signing of the Fee Agreement to start the search
    • 1/3 due 30 days after start of search
    • 1/3 due on date the candidate begins the service relationship with you
THIS IS THE MOST COST EFFECTIVE option but requires great focus, cooperation and partnership to assure success. The cost is exactly the same as contingency search, but the search is raised to our highest level priority. A change in the payment terms gives you our highest level of search and the same total cost. However, if the search demands travel, hotel and meal expenses to personally interview the candidates or visit your corporate facilities for free consultation, there would be an additional charge upon your request.

Contingency:

May be used for one or multiple openings at low to mid-level positions when a particular profile is constant and sense of urgency is low to medium. No exclusivity of candidates is offered with this search method.  The terms and conditions are payment due upon start date of the candidate.

The investment for this option is 30% of the estimated first year's compensation including base salary, bonuses and commissions.  Our clients have no financial commitment since they pay a service charge if, and only if, a candidate referred by us is offered a position and accepts.

Engaged:

Is a blend of the Retained and Contingency Options.  It is best utilized for mid to high-level positions which must be filled in a timely period and require thorough, professional representation in the marketplace. A project team will work with you until the position is filled.

  • Replacement guarantee, 60 days
  • Fee is based on estimated first year’s compensation including base salary, bonuses and commissions:
    • 1/3 due upon signing of the Fee Agreement to start the search
    • Remainder of fee due on date candidate begins the service relationship with you
    • All candidates recruited and presented are exclusive to you for a period of 30 days
